JUDY BERTELSEN EAGLE RIDGE FARM

JUDY AT THE 2010 STONE BRIDGE CUTTER RALLY

Our main farm is located in west central Alberta, where we have 3 quarters of land, one of which borders the mighty Red Deer River. We built our new home here about 7 years ago, and in those years I have been carving trails throughout the river quarter for riding and driving fun. Being a nature nut ...

Little Whipper Snappers

Taylor Rickard

My name is Taylor Rickard and I am 10 years old. I drive a pony named Tony (aka Tony the Pony) and he is about 16 years old. I enjoy taking him out to drive because I can give my little brother, my mom and my friends rides in the cart. I have been driving Tony for about 2 years.
We drive mostly at home but have driven in 3 combined driving events and have driven at the a couple of youth shows that offered a driving class. Tony loves to drive and the faster the
better. I have learned to drive from my Grandpa and my Mom. I did get a chance to drive Duchess belonging to Morris & Kathy Helmig for a lesson with Sterling Graburn last summer, where I did learn some new things. I look forward to driving more again in the spring.

Jasmin Fossen

My name is Jasmin and I’m ten years old. I started  learning how to drive
last spring. I really like riding and driving and I just love to be around
horses! My horse’s name is Windy and he use to pull a cutter in the winter
so I’m hoping to get him driving again soon. This past summer I had driving lessons with Sterling using the Helmig’s pony, Duchess. It was a lot of fun!
